Posterior Cervicothoracic Fusion (PCF)

Posterior Cervicothoracic Fusion (PCF) is a surgical procedure performed through the back of the neck. PCF involves permanently fusing or joining two or more damaged neck (cervical) and thoracic (mid-back) vertebrae. PCF is often done to fix broken neck, neck bone dislocations, and abnormal curvature of the upper spine. PCF is considered only after non-surgical treatments have failed.
